Graphic Design tells a story visually, and enhances the words written or photographs captured with the use of design. As a graphic designer, I love creating in ways that highlight the message to be shared while using a layout to guide the eye for aesthetic purposes.
I enjoy utilizing various elements such as shapes, lines, and/or colors to enhance documents full of text where photography is not the primary tool used for communication. The formatting of the document is a design principle that is useful for creating a focus on the information by creating an organized placement of words within the grid of the page, its margins.

My current educational endeavor is in the field of Early Childhood Education. During this exploration, I'm curious to learn how we develop as humans and how our environment contributes to our experiences in life. Gaining an understanding about how different people may be influenced within particular contexts will enrich my expertise in delivering messages as a graphic designer. Similar to concept development, creating lesson plans has aims and objectives to achieve particular goals. I look forward to seeing how I can expand my knowledge and contribute to others.
The best jobs are where I can design for a message I believe in. One that encourages growth, empowerment, unity, bettering ourselves and our environment in some way or another. I love contributing to a good cause no matter how small it may seem. The ultimate project is ourselves.
